Halls E + G

Halls E + G in the MuseumsQuartier are the exclusive event venues in the heart of Vienna. Besides performances of the Wiener Festwochen, the Tanzquartier Wien, and the young music theatre scene, numerous international and extraordinary productions in the fields of music, theatre, and dance are presented here. The successful combination of Baroque and modern architecture is used by many institutions and companies for social events, congresses, and presentations in exceptionally appealing surroundings.

On the history of Halls E + G

The former stables of the imperial court provided an area for fairs and exhibitions for many years. In 1985, the Wiener Festwochen used the then Messepalast for cultural purposes for the first time. The halls became important places of performance for the Wiener Festwochen between 1985 and 1997. The conversion of the Messepalast into the MuseumsQuartier turned the listed Winter Riding School into Hall E and the smaller Hall G below.
